i have a twin side draft manifold for 2t/3t motor, and might get some 40mm solex's, and one of my mates recon they'll fit the manifold....is this true?

If it's a DCOE Weber manifold, Solex sidedraughts will fit as they're basically a DCOE clone. The bolt pattern is identical.
