Hi all,
I'm back, but no longer XLboy...
I sold my excel....
.... unfortunately the replacement car is not a toyota but i am absolutely positive the next one will be
following pressure from the wife, we bought a brand new Black VW Golf.
Oh well,
I am on the prowl for a modified old skool celica though.
I am still kicking myself for not taking the 4AGZE sprinter off my bro's hands.
i have learnt my lesson. don't bother modifying your car cause you lose lots of money.... just buy one modified...
i lost heaps of money on my excel.... but i did have fun and clocked up a stack of mileage on it.
Good to be back scoping out the forums again.

Ahhh i'm a sad excel driver myself....not by choice
And i wouldnt agree with you about doing up cars and losing money...a large factor is the type of car, common lets face it, and excel is a chicks car(what i keep telling one of my mates at TAFE who's doing up his excel sprit RICER STYLE....damn malaysian fool wont listen to me that its impressing no one). My mate got himself a HJ kingswood for $300...invested quite a few man hours and about $3500-$4000 of his own money and sold it for $16000. But thats pure luck.....anyways keep on the wife about getting a REAL car...hmmmm supra *drools*

hi duckman,
mine was a '98 model and it wasn't that bad... though I was concerned about how much it would last over 100,000Ks... so i sold it at 92K
supras rule.... but they are impractical things.... i would prefer something like a 4agze AE82 seca... my bro is close to saving up enough to purchase a supra.
Mmmm.... Kingswood, interesting choice. i know there are a few diehard fans out there. I suppose it is an Aussie icon.
