Toyota outselling Ford for Number 2, GM still number 1.
Figures includes all Ford owned companies Volvo, Jaguar, L/Rover, A/Martin (no Mazda?) and Toyota's Hino and Diahatsu divisions (no Lexus?)
Dam toyota are good! i even have one of there old sewing machines which still works and has excellent engineered mechanics inside.(before they made cars)

ford only owns about 30% of mazda..
That means they have the final say in a lot of the executive decisions, but don't own the entire company.

That's good to know, i thought they were %100 owned by ford.
What about nissan? i heard they were owned by another manufacturer.
Honda are still owned by honda correct?
crysler own mitsubishi, and mercedes owns crysler. It comes down to about 4-6 main car companies owning the rest.

I heard Toyota sells more cars overal compared to Holden which sells more of one car (Commodore).

So Mercedes own Crysler who own Mitsubishi
Ford owns Mazda
Honda owns Honda
and Toyota owns Toyota
Good to know the Toyota Supra is owned by Toyota... and not freekin'... Ford... or BMW... or... something.

i think toyota are the last of the independantly owned japanese car manufacturers.
