hey guys just a quick question,
What engine will bolt straight into a ra23, that is realitivly cheap to buy and where can i get one from in the brisbane area.

i dont really know, but an 18r-g? decent power, so ive been told....
and before someone else tells you off for not using the search function, better do it
coz everyone told me to do a search.... just givin ya a warnin'

Yes, do a search, there's scads of info for you to read. Short answer though, R series engines are the only direct bolt-in, and T series if you swap in a TA23 crossmember.

Next up the scale in order of difficultly is a 1G GTE/GZE engine into an RA23, but you have a few more things to find and modify. Again there is heaps written about this on the net also.

Oz Craig,
Damn good idea.
I just read your signature and have a question....
I would guess that you used the rear mounting position
for the engine brackets on your GTE and bolted that onto
the TA23 crossmember ?
