7afe to rwd

Firstly, I've searched for this info under varying strings and the results didn't contain what I wanted.
In a nutshell, as the topic suggests, can the 7afe engine be converted to rwd format and if so, what needs to be done?
I am planning to slot this in to a TE71 Sprinter that currently has a 2tgeu.
Thanks in advance
Steve

The procedure should be the same as for a 4A eninge. So the TB will have to be repositioned and waterlines sorted. I think you can use an AE71 crossmember and you will need an 'A' series T50. Are you going to use a 4AGE head?

Yeap it can, but major issue is that the Dizzy will foul the firewall and the T/B will point the wrong way... there is one way to fix the dizzy, ie get rid of it an go a crank angle sensor. Some Jap imports do have GZE style ignitions ie individual coils with crank sensors. But I would really look at a 4AGE, less hassles

Sorry Connor I'm in Perth.
Tanman, yes, I was looking at using the 4age head. I was reading some interesting stuff on 7agze engines in England and it got me thinking.
Thanks for the help guys
