20 Valve into CS!!!

Hey,
I'm in melbourne,
I'm wondering if I could get a group of you guys to do a 20 valve conversion for me, and then someone to do the SX dash and wiring up... How much would it cost??? And what would i need before hand. I don't have an engine hoist or anywhere to do block and tackle..
Maybe I can invite the group to a BBQ with booze and stuff at my place, similar to what interia did!!!
I've been quoted $3500 from toyospares to have it up and running! and about $500 for engineering...
Also I'd like to put Levin ae92 seats in, should they just bolt in???

I wouldn't be much help but I would love to come along to watch if you can get it together. I realy need to learn more about how to fix that thing under the bonnet.

Gee. Front cuts are pretty damn cheap here.

They have 4agze for $2000,
Toyospares in Melbourne were gonna charge like $3500 or somethign like that
I wonder how much they would charge for 20 valve..
Probably less I hope!

If $3500 is for the cost of the engine + ancilleries, all labour required to get it running then I would call that a good deal.
You could probably save anywhere from $500 to $1k by doing it yourself. You would need a engine hoist or block and tackle and a good sidchrome set.
Whar sort of budget are you working with? Because if I had the $3.5k and not the tech know how I would go toyospares ;p Otherwise I would recomend getting a tech manual + front cut (so you get the better brakes + ancilleries) and do it yourself... Its pretty easy once you get into it.
Or alternatively I could give you hand/do it for you (for a price of course)?

Hey,
I'm still workin out whats going on as yet,
But yeah thanx for the offer...
How much would u charge just out of interest to put a 88kw (4age bigport) into a ae86 sprinter please??
