yeah Id prefer a replacement, because if I replace it using an alternate switch, I know i'll end up customising the whole module...
strange... seems when the driversside stopped working, putting the passenger window up from the driverside is no longer possible...
You wouldnt happen to have a wiring diagram for the power windows would you feral? it make things abit easyier

Don't know if you've seen this before.
http://www.deru.com/~sgn1/AW11/Bodyre.htm
Sometimes the power windows will not work because the switch is just full of crud, and a good cleaning will fix the problem. Another problem is when the small center switch becomes wallowed out and will not make contact. A cheap fix for this is to take out the switch and carefully cut off the bump stop for the larger button and make the larger button work both up and down. Also, a non working window could also be from a snapped regulator cable.
And for the plastic Cog replacement http://www.twosrus.com/new/Lower_Frames/Products/F abricated/MKIwindowgear.htm might be cheaper than buyer a whole assembly.

i have already started replaceing mine with Britax switches.
as for the cog, i have thought many times to buy a few from twosrus, just not too sure how much shipping would be.?
the last cog i made myself, toyota wanted $495 for the lot and wouldnt sell the cog seperately.
but the plastic has stripped again, i might have to buy the 'twosrus' cogs i think.
