Ed, the big garret turbos on the first boat - are they oil-only bearing housings?
and the big beer-keg-like canister - was it fuel, or water for the air-to-water intercooler mounted above the throttle bodies?
oh, were these monsters running petrol (e.g. racing fuel) or something looney and dangerous like alcohol?
... anyway, they look pretty damn might awsome engines... Wink

beer keg = dry sump reseviour
intercooler = water to air (with a boat picking up new water as it travels you'd be mad to go air to air)
fuel = sweet smelling nitro/meth mix, yum!

Reminds me of some of the old Tractor Pull combinations that you used to see - but they had 2 or 3 engines hooked together !!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

Buy biggest engine
Buy biggest supercharger or two of the biggest turbos
Bolt it all together with the biggest water to air intercooler and full A/N plugs and heaps of braided hoses
Vent everything to air including HUGE dumps and large wastegates
