The Kandos Street Machine Show is on again Jan 24th and 25th 2004...

I'll be going once again as it was awesome last year...

I'm leaving Sydney early morning on Friday the 23rd January and travelling up with a mate with the CHU88Y commodore...

Anyone else thinking of going???

I went last year and took HEAPS of photos

Even though I had a god time last year, I won't be back this year though... Last year was far too hot and far too dusty.

I'm heading south this year for thr Porsche Mt Buller Sprint that weekend... - Australia's answer to Pikes Peak Smile

Yeah, it was quite dusty... Especially when my mates were going nuts in the motorkharna... The CHU88Y commodore and the black TUF01T One Tonner Ute... Remember those at all???

Yeah... They are the ones... I havn't been able to get in contact with Dwayne (TUF01T) so I dunno if he'll be there in January... Me and Damien (CHU88Y) will be there though...

Mmmm. Trying to get the Rolla ready for the summer nationals at eastern creek early Feb Don't think that I will be able lto go.

At this stage - it looks like Mt Buller is where I will be...

Kandos will be heaps cheaper than Mt Buller, (gunna cost me $400 just in accommodation for Mt Buller, and there isn't even any bloody snow there this time of year Sad )

We got out of going to Mt Buller..
I must admit I was not looking forward to a long drive there and back during double demerit points... especially in Victoria....

Soooo, looks Like Kandos will be where we are going instead...

Where did you stay last time Jason???

Cause I was camping on the oval next to Dwaynes TUF01T infront of the grandstand...

I presume that we will be camping on the oval again, if not, I know a barn out the back of my old Shcool House... (My high school owns a house there that they use for music camps and yeah, we stayed in the barn... A bit cold but still better than out in the open...)

Last year I only went up on the Sunday - so Accommodation wasn't needed.. to do it properly though, we should be there for both days.. - I am thinking of getting a campervan for the weekend and just driving that up - otherwise not 100% sure where we will be staying. Half of me still enjoys camping out and "roughing it" while the other (more vocal) side of me says Nahhh, gimme comfort and a hot shower etc...

There are showers there... Just play the game of avoiding the Tinea Razz Razz Razz ... I avoided it and roughed it, put up with my smell for the weekend and used more and more deoderant Smile Smile Smile ...

I'll be there with CHUBBY and TUF01T again this year...

Yes, I am definitely coming
I live Northside, but we are leaving early Saturday morning to be up there.

We have found some accomodation in Mudgee - it's about 35 mins drive , but at least we can charge batteries, review the photos we take and then download them all before going to bed..

And HOT showers, fresh cooked breakfast...and best of all - It's all tax deductable too !!

NO, Not taking a Laptop, just a Portable storage drive that you can download your pics too and I'll burn them to a CD Rom for you.. As for battery charging - yeah, no problems
