D series diff centre wanted Tue, 25 November 2003 14:29 Go to next message
Hi everybody,

I was just wondering if anybody happened to have an early D series diff just lying around that they wanted to get rid of? If possible i am interested in a 3.7 - 3.9 ratio but aren't too fussy as mine is about to blow up.

Regards

Daniel

I can quieten it down again for you?!!!! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Seriously, you'd have more luck finding a complet T series diff over the D series centre.

Mate, in al honesty i reckon if we tried to quieten it down by that means again it would blow.....you know the other week when we towed it and you said it was loud...well now it i so loud that i can't even handle driving it down the road. I'm thinking i could let it blow and that would be a good excuse to get the BW done to fit but the old $$$$$ are the limiting factor at the moment....Hey, you got any nights free soon? I can hear dinner comin on Wink

Ya reckon i would be better of getting a complete T series? would that bolt straight in place of the D series carrier? Do you reckon it would be possible to get a 3.7 ratio T series heheheheheheh

Cheers

Dan

PS: How much of that 3T-GTE have you got left from that TT142?

Oh, all right!!! Try finding a diff in a car you can hear running, out of the quokka, Pick a Part doesn't have any TA22 or TE71's at the moment.
