I bet they get alot of orders for the Gold Power chip.
And even more for the bronze/silver.

Its a bit like that isn't it? he he. The bronze/silver one makes no difference to performance. I think the only thing it does is to get rid of the rev limiter.

In ripping out the 4AGE from the car, we have noticed that the chip is not just a chip. It also has its own "box" sperate to the standard computer, and this box is an ignition computer. So its a chip with more than a chip!!!

according to the manufacturer the 86 or as the brand it 76???Kw computers were unable to be chiped as they used an intergrated IC so they developed a timing advance sytem (your little box) that advanced the timing to achieve increased performance ( youd think that they would let you know to shift the cams as well to get maximum effect DUH!!. So if you have the 86Kw engine you actually dont have a chip at all but that little box instead

My engine is the 100kw 4AGE. It is definitely part of the "chip" that I bought

hmm thats interesting because from what I remeber the 100Kw just had a chip so I wonder why you got the timing box too? anyhow the more is better principle seems to be a good route to take
