My KE50 had a Jap diff and coil springs.... but remember that was a fully imported model with 3K and a 5spd K50 gearbox! I think it was an E series or soemthing?
I think only the KE55 and later had bog whiner diffs, but of course i could be wrong!
And FWIW - the T18 is a bolt in replacement
