KYB shocks suit MA61, **BRAND NEW**

I just bought a set of KYB shocks for my Supra, but I changed my mind - I want Koni's! Of course this depends on if anyone will give me a reasonable price for the KYB's.
Yes they're brand-spanking-new, never used. I've got as far as installing the strut inserts but the suspension is still in bits so I haven't driven on them yet. The rear shocks are still in their boxes, unopened.
So, anyone interested? This is a perfect opportunity to upgrade your Supra's suspension for cheap. Make me an offer!
BTW these may work in an SA63/RA65 Celica, but don't quote me on that.

Hey Norbs,
What is behind the change in mind ?
What part number Koni's are you going for and what price can you get them for as I am going to go for Koni's as well ? I have a part number for Yellow Sport front, but can't get one for the rear. I have found some Red units for the rear, but the guys won't give me the part number
With your springs, you mentioned that you had Kings - are they lowered or std height and what rate ?
Cheers

Weird. I was told you can't get reds.. can only get non-externally-adjustable yellows. Heh. Silly suspension places give eveyone a different story. I have some reds from an ra2x to use with some RCA blocks to put in the front of my ra65, but need some rears.
How much did you pay for the KYBs, Norbie, and what sort are they? Dual tube or monotube? If someone buys the struts off you but not the rears I may well be interested in the rears

Stefan,
I got a price on the internally adjustable reds from Rovparts in SA, but they wouldn't give me the part numbers "as they had worked hard to discover this combination !" , but
Topperformance in Melbourne provided a part number for externally adjustable Yellows but wouldn't give me a price, so had to phone back Rovparts and give them the number so that I could get a price
In the end, I can get the Yellow Fronts and Red rears for $760.
Can anyone do better ? I'd be in for a set to help get a better price
Cheers

Sounds like the quote I got for yellows, but I was assured that you can only get them as internally adjustable for our cars, even for yellows. Which would be a PITA for strut inserts, rear shocks arn't such a problem.
I'll look up the quote & prices for you when I find them. You CAN get yellow rears if you want them all round.

Cheers Stefan,
I look forward to the info.
I agree, internally adjustable are a PITA. I thought the idea of the Yellows was the external adjsustment ?

The KYB's won't work with my uber-low springs (well, not safely) hence I need to exchange them. I've found a relatively cheap source of Koni's elsewhere so I decided to go with them instead.
