hey all this is my first post here, i drive a ae82 with a crappy 4ac which has shit it self! either the head gasket is gone or it has a cracked head and the mechanic i took it to reckons it is going to cost from $800 dollars upwards to fix, and i dont have that kind of coin. how ever my friend just wrote off his ae92, and i may be able to pinch his engine off of him... what i need to know is: will this bolt in? im not sure if it is efi, if it is will i need the fuel tank and lines? anyone got nay other ideas that might help me out? thanks guys and girls any feedback is good feedback.
p.s sorry about the super long post, im new...

I would have thought that if it isn't EFI then it should fit in with minimal modification. This would be the cheapest option, as long as your mate was happy to sell you the motor at the right price.
If the motor was EFI then you would need to find an EFI fuel tank and lines from an ae82 twin-cam. These aren't too expensive but it will be a bigger, more complicated project.
