Well you've gotta make sure you bury them real deep, cos they can cause a stink otherwise, and also make sure you don't bury them in a flooding water table, cos they have been known to float to the surface, ..., huh, ..., oh car bodies, right I'm with you now!

Due to the demand for scrap metal in the world at the moment, most scrap yards will take these for free, or if they can get weight out of them, give you a small amount for them. I always use a body removal as a good excuse for a yard cleanup, so all the ferrous material goes inside the car, and I walk away with $20 and a clean back yard!!!

He was obviously taking it to sell it to a wrecker hopefully, at the moment, it's a case of the heavier the car, the better for the removalist.

Oh and crushing a body in a car like you see on TV all the time doesn't work either - they do start to smell, and people do look!!!

I pulled a name out of the trading post under free car removal to come and get it but when he arrived he wouldn't take it for free and wanted to charg 200 bucks to take it. He obviously wanted to sell it to a wrecker, but there is noting left to strip. So I prolly need to move it myself.
there is a scrap metal place next to pick and payless at blacktown has anyone given cars to them?

Well I got our TOTALLY stripped SA63 picked up for free Cool so have a look in the yellow pages for car removables is all that I can suggest. Also make sure that you check that they are not going to charge you to pick up your stripped car tho.

Cheers

car have wheels?

remove identifying features (old rego labels, junk mail, engine/VIN numbers) then dump outside public building or westfield shopping centre?

i believe someone suggested outside UTS in the centre of town?

Very Happy

seriously, keep trying the wreck-removal removeal folks - the local throw-away papers up here are full of folks willing to take stuff away for free, or even pay you cash if it's worth a few bob...

sounds like the 200 buck dude was a leech Mad
