Nice throttle body setup, dave. It will whip the ass of the stock crossover pipe.

What size was the original throttle body??

BTW: I think you are missing some exhaust bolt-ons, e.g. GT40 and 45mm Wastegate.

Thanks guys!

The fun starts next Saturday....lift out 4M, sacrificial auto burning ceremony (definitely have pics of that!), then see what has to happen with mounts but looks very promising so far.

Pete, original throttle body is around 67-68 mm. As much as I'd like to do the GT40/HKS wastegate thing, I'd just be in the wrong class. Cry

Nice to see someone giving the NA 2jz the goods for once - damned good value for $ engine I say, for those who don't want a turbo. With those throttles, a decent exhaust and some careful tuning (few other little things like a nice light flywheel) should sound nice. I wanna make sure I get to hear it at the next dyno day or sometime when its done!

Why not just ditch the GF and start sleeping with a 2jz? With that throttle setup he almost has one for every night of the week!

Very nice!!
I was after a N/A 2jz for my BMW but I couldn't find one so I had to settle for a 1jz-gte, Now all of my cars are turbocharged, except the Mini, but its british!!
