im looking at get a new car but want to know fuel usage for a 91 corolla. would i use more fuel in a twin cam? what sort of km's do you lot get outa your cars? Both twin cams or stocko 91 modls. Please help.

approx 450kms per tank, i think they are 40 or 45 litres.
this is for twin cam 4age, fangin it sometimes and with sound gear and stuff

i get about 500 - 550 kms on a full tank which is around 45litres

not tight, just money wise. You see, i actually earn my money, not get it off mummy and daddy. With the money i actualy earn is very little, plus i drive over 80km/day just going to work and back.

drive most cars like a granny, and you will get "granny fuel economy" Very Happy
drive like and hoon and fuel consumption gets worse...

but even a corolla which gets thrashed has pretty good economy.. my mates AE92 is amazing..

My Carby CB lancer gets about 400KM out of about 35 litres. Depending on how I drive it.

Good economy. But don't get one, they suck.

My twin-cam rolla gets about 7L/100km. Doesn't seem to matter whether I flog it or drive like a granny - same economy
