CHEAP TA22 & Cordia-box Sun, 28 July 2002 03:28 Go to next message
Does anyone want a TA22 for cheap or a Cordia Turbo gearbox? The gearbox is in perfect condition and i have it apart for inspection. (will put it back together if you want it.) Name your price. I also have a TA22 which is really a parts car. It runs, but the body is in quite a bad condition. The engine was rebuilt about 2 months before the car had an intimate relationship with a give way sign. The impact was not too big, apparently it was driven home after the accident. (I bought it already crashed) It is pretty much a complete car minus the rear seat and door trims, apart from this it is a whole running car. The body has taken a beating over the years, i suggest it be bought for parts or as a rough run-around. I'm looking at around $350 because it has a fresh 2T motor and 5 speed gearbox in it. The diff is in good condition as is the suspension. I'm not exactly sure at the moment, but i think it may actually be an ST model. (The 2T motor was put in a year ago after the original 2TB carked it. Depending, i may sell it even cheaper if i can scavenge a few parts off it. Or maybe even as parts. Anyone interested can email me @ im_up4_streetdrags@hotmail.com The price is also negotiable Rolling

dude - u can check if its an original ST by looking for the oil pressure analogue guage in the dash , the references to 2tb on the compliance plate , and obviously ST badging .. They also have a slightly different grill i believe than the standard ta22 LT ..

Pics would be great if possible - of the car involved

Id be interested in the analogue AMPS/oil pressure guage if your parting her out - and the front and rear ST badging

Haha, yeah sorry but that was really one of the only reasons i bought it in the first place, for the ST's Amps/Oil gauge. I removed it and replaced it with the LT's Oil/Volts warning lights. I have a pic of the car which i will place here once i can get this stupid digital camera to transfer the pic onto my computer. If anyone wants it they can just email me or write here, the price is very negotiable and i am interested in the rear muffler and windscreen, so if i can have these parts i will go very cheap. What the hell, i'll pull it apart and sell it as parts if anyone wants TA22 parts. Just tell me what you need and i'll tell you if it's got them or not. At the moment it's a complete running car minus the door trims and rear seat, so i have ample parts. Tell me what you want and name a price!!!!! Nod Smiley $$

ps sorry i dunno if it has any ST badges left? i'll check.
