i got quoted for 4ag

went to city dismantler's in SA...asked for 4AG small port. it has a cut loom and an ECU but the salesman reckons he dont know whether which engine the ECU is for...
guess how much...$1400!!! 
how mucch have u guys bought the 4ag small port (100kw) before?

I have seen them for around $600 with ecu/loom in the forsale section here, you just have to look.

I got a bigport complete for $250 inc ECU, MAP sensor, Ignitor.
But as was going into RWD had to get a inlet manifold and exhaust manifold. Picked these up for $300 secondhand.

mate, what the hell were you doing at citys????? the only reason i can think is to gain the quote from them, halve it, then attain the real world price. the only people that buy from these guys are crash repairers, even then that doesn't happen much, they have stock that i reckon has been there for at least 5 years, mmmm so many employees, so little trade......how do they stay in business??

doesnt matter what the ecu is, any big port or small port ecu will run a NA 4age 16v.
and as i said, CD's are a rip off, shop around

looks like i look like a fool going to CD..well..not my fault..i asked my friend to bring me to wreckers..so he brought me there...dont shoot me...i'll shoot my friend tomorrow
