it may help if you tell the corolla boys what year your car actually is, and also what engine.

And keep in mind the differences in model codes between countries.
Personally, i have bugger all clue what a "facelift" corolla is.

im starting to get the idea...., i guess that its an ae86......
do i get a prize if im right?
seriously, what you have to understand is that corollas have been avaliable in australia for over 30 years!!!, thus calling your car a "facelift model" means absolutely nothing, open the bonnet and look for the vehicle info plate, should have the model designation on it.
hope this helps.

Not so fast JDM. The 86 came in coupe, but so did the AE92.

Having said that, one does not have the nick "no1 drifter" an ae92.

Post the date of manufacture (month/year), VIN and Model nos.

The AE86 was called a Corolla almost everywhere except here. That's because it IS a Corolla. Razz

You need to host them on a server and provide a link.
Everyone knows what an 86 looks like, so you don't really need to put pics up.

Now, what was the question again? lol

You'll be hard pressed getting more power if you have to keep it standard. So what does standard really mean? I'm gathering a larger capacity engine is out of the question. What about stripping the interior? lighter seats? What about a newer 4age? They're still 1.6L.
If it's for off road, get the biggest adjustable anti-roll bars and strut braces you can find then maybe get some softer springs to match. If it's for track only, get the bars and braces and stiffer springs.

standard means no panels removed u have to leave the back seats in but we probably could boar out the engine and u can do anything as long as it is not obvious me dads mate has got 1 with a red top engine in and he has done something to it and it sounds different to every one else's they thought he had a 2.0 in it he said he didn't but he wont tell us what he has done to his to make it so quick
