gday
just found an 18rg for a decnet price and considering swapping for a 22re in an ra65
i know if it is manual the w series boxes are the same, my question is my 22re is an auto and the 18rg is a manual, so will the auto still bolt up to the 18rg ?....
i dont have time to convert into a manual at this stage if this is a drag and drop operation i need it done within the weekend
cheers in advance

As they are both R series bolt up patterns, I don't see why not, however you would have to stuff around with kickdown cables for the auto onto the 18RG, and I guarentee you that will take longer than the weekend. You'll have to fabricate linkages and mounts for it, I'd propose?!
Whats the go with that bodykit you want from me?!?

can u even get a auto flew plate to fit the 18rgu engine. I tried to put one off a 18r on i and it didnt fit. Bolts didnt line up so make sure u can get a 18rgu flew plate for the auto first.

The 18R and 18R-G have an identical flywheel bolt pattern, as do all R series engines... I'm not sure what you were trying to do!
