1 run cause there was 50 million fucking ppl Mad

i got 3 runs, the first 2 were a waste cause it was backfiring topping out 3rd {killed the rest of the run} and the 3rd was ok but was trying out not shifting to 3rd, just rev the tits off it so there was no down time for shifting.
the 3rd was a 17.76 Rolling Eyes

and i had to ride the clutch

my first run was at 8 or so {got there at 6.30} 2 nd was at 9.30 and 3 rd was at 10.00

tony khoury's old ford probe was there with a new SC SB chev/rodeck in it, he hit the half way {where it changes from cement to bitumen} and kicked to the right wall {missed} and shot straight into the left wall HARD,
pics here http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/index.php?act= section&sectionID=7&entryID=1648&getev ent=yes

the 13.4 second go kart rocked Very Happy

phil: when i was last there there was this gocart doing frightening fast runs - but it had no rear spoiler.

the cart sounded like a bike engine with gearbox. and it took off like a gorilla with its arse on fire - very twitchy and front end looked real crazy - i figured that if the guy flipped it, they would have had to hose the smeared torso off the track...

were ther many bike riders? when i was there, it was a bit like Suziki nite.

charles.

apparently that cart has done a 12 flat, it has a 490cc motorbike engine, it was doing low13's then they took off the rear wing and it got a 12.65

it lifts the front wheels too Shocked

no, fuck all bikes thank christ Cool

yeah 1 run cause I lined up for an hour for it. I wasn't going to that again so I sat in the stands and watched for the rest of the night.

I was happy with my run anyway, got a decent launch and smooth shifts all the way. So no need to torture the clutch on more runs for that extra .1sec or so.

I'll be back there on the 17th Dec with some more mods and looking for a mid-high 14s. Namely a FCD and another 2psi boost. Probably a new cat-back as well, as the standard cat-back exhaust is starting to rattle... (car already has a 3" dump and mid-pipe with hi-flow cat).

New airfilter wouldn't go astray either...

I just thought the line up was excessive... i hate pushing a 1400kg AWD car up the staging lanes myself.

but yeah, as I said above, I was happy with my run, so didn't see the need to flog the car another 3 times just to get an improvement of .1 seconds. I'll wait till i've done some more mods and then do some more runs.

Yeah saw the Probe crash. Took some photos of the wreck afterwards too.

I wanna know what gearbox the Kart has. And as someone posted on there..That would kill a man rolling that kart at 93mph. I honestly don't think I'd game enough to drive it. I couldn't be bothered joining the forum listings. So if you could ask them "philmelvin" that would be great thanks (ask about gearbox).
And is that a BMX helmet I see sitting in the go karts seat? I'm supprised if they let someone do runs with that on
Cheers, Jacob
