What do people suggest? I mean we have thought of everything from 3TG/GTE, 4AGE and its varients or even 2TG. So gimmie your ideas, or if you wanna tell me what problems are involved (I know EFI, and the 4AGE needing mounts, crossmembers, rack and pinion steering n whatnot) so if you have experiance tell me what you reckon.

Easiest to stick with the T series engines in a T18.
3T/2T-GEU hybrid, custom exhaust manifold, RB20 BB turbo, FMIC, some sort of programmable engine management (even a microleb would be OK), and you'll have a quick T18 for not too much money.
That's what I'd do anyway.

turbo 3TC still has a lot of potential as demonstrated by the puerto ricans....
with a heavy car like that (relaticely ) i'd be tempted to go with capacity.. going back to a 1.6L may not be that great...
either keep 3TC/G and turbo or SC.
for a swap, 1GG, T or Z
and if you wanna go nuts, 1UZ (they are gettin cheaper....)
what about current 1ZZ/2ZZ? hassle with bellhousing i guess..
3SGTE???

I like the above ideas, but if you are wanting simplicity, stick in a twin carby 2TG. It'll just need a bigger low pressure fuel pump and a new accelerator cable, that's about it. You lose a little low down, but it sings out to redline and beyond.
