 Recomend me a gear box!!! i need help

hey guys, im going todo a 4AGZE conversion into my 81 ke70 and was just wondering what a strong good gear box would be that i could thrash and wont break, and a nother thing should i buy a half cut of a ae101 or buy everything seperate?

im geussing you could fit anything in anything with enough $$$ but i dont really wanna spend that much $$$, the ke70 in zoom has a supra 6spd

a 6speed will cost you big bucks. then a bellhousing to suit will cost at least over $500 not including fitting. a cheaper alternative is the T50 which mates straight up but is weaker then the supra boxes

A Supra 6-speed is MASSIVE overkill for any 4A. It's big, it's heavy, it will sap lots of power, and it costs a small fortune.
On the other end of the scale, a T50 is cheap but flimsy and ultimately too weak for a GZE. A W5x occupies the middle ground and is the best bet IMO.

yep norbie i agree. im putting a w57/58 behind my 302, and im praying it will last. My ford clutch is an 11" H.d One so itll help a bit. Same deal with the supra diff.
