97 Camry V6 - Manual Conversion.

A mate of mine wants to convert his V6 camry to manual instead of the dismal automatic.
Anyone know if this is doable? For example will the manual flywheel bolt up to the engine (are the bolt patterns the same or are they different b/w auto and manual) do the engine mounts remain the same with just a new one needed for the manual box vs the auto box?
Also do the camrys' use a computer for the auto box and nothing for the manual box? Or is all integral in the ECU?
Aside from needing the box, master, slave, pedal box, ecu's wiring et al, anything else?
Or is it more cost effective to get another car?

Yes, definitely. It's not worth the pain/hassle of screwing around with a late-model car like this unless you have a really good reason to do so, and since manual Camry's already exist, the best option is to just buy one!
