How do I fit aftermarket smilies to my, currently stock, thread?

I see people with these 3D smilies and other ones that nod and move.... How do I put these in my posts?
I mean, no offence, I like the ones we are given on ToyMods but I thought it was time for a bit of variety.

Just noticed this last night. When you go to post, under the Smiley shortcuts there is another option... List all smilies...
Then you get cool ones like these
But i've seen others that aren't listed there either. Weird...

I'm guessing they probably just link to them from other sites as images....

look for a little program called emoticons - it has a heap of em
i had great fun browsng and putting them up on a thread not long ago
99% of the time they are remotely linked off another site ..
you can get the URL of the smiley i think by holding your mouse cursor over it and pop - up it comes - in windows anyway
Cheers !
