Guys, Just interested to know when a GT30 (smallest version) would spool..
Im looking at getting a GT2530 in t3 flange as that is what my manifold and dump pipe are but they are way too hard to find in T3 flange.
Any opinions?
Already have had a myrad of skyline turbos and im never getting a ceramic wheel turbo again put it that way..

as far as I know, there's no such thing as a GT30 with a .48 exhaust housing, or an internal wastegate for that matter.

It all gets very confusing when people talk about a "GT30" or whatever, but when you look into it, even the workshops that distribute the turbos tend to get the designations wrong, or put their own slant on it.
For a good idea on how the sizing structure goes with garrett GT series ball bearing turbos, log onto http://www.horsepowerinabox.com/HPIAB2/category26_ 1.htm
People often call GT25's GT28's and vice versa.
The HKS GT2530 would be a very nice match. Kristian (advertises often on this site) seems to sell them fairly regularly for around $1700 second hand (heaps better than the $4500 new pricetag )

Yeah, Ive already given kristian $ about a month or so ago to find me one but theyre all either t2 or bad condition t3 flange ones.
I dont wanna stuff around with new dump pipes and flange adapters.
Will just have to wait

bugger
I wanted to upgrade my T28 to a garrett GT25 (380hp version), but have decided to seek out an HKS GTRS, as the garrett compressor housing will hit my Cam Angle Sensor, whereas the GTRS is a bolt on deal... unfortunately I dont think i'm gonna find one second hand though
What sort of T3 do you have on yours at the moment?
