As the title says do the ct12 from the 1g and the ct12a from the 1jz have the same bolt pattern/mount points? quick reply would be supra... err super!

i think the only main difference is the CT12s off the 1G are steel turbine vs the ceramics of the CT12A off the 1JZ.

they should be identical otherwise, evident by how 'laggy' the 1G is compared to the 1JZ - which would be about right if they were the same size turbo.

there are dif's in th inlet sizes ect too, but i'm just interested (ATM) in if they have the same mountings. ie as if they could be swapped if u want...

Even 1g turbos are different - gen1/2 have different bolt up on the compressor output to gen 3. There are some pictures of the 1g and 1j in the gallery. If things were that easy you would find all the 1gs around running 1j turbos. This topic has been covered in detail on a number of occassions - so it is worth a search.

Yeah they are completly different, but I have seen a CT12/CT12a hybrid using a CT12 exhaust housing and CT12a core and compressor.

It bolted onto a 1G exhaust manifold and used custom compressor manifolds. Apparently it was good for about 180kw@wheels.

yeah check ur shots grant but i wasn't sure if the bolt lined up. didn't look like it but could of been cos of the metal backing, so i asked
