If you want bigger rotors just buy the jza70 rotors they're 300+mm. If you want something better go to Specialised Brake and Clutch in St marys (Sydney). I have custom mounting hats and slotted rotors 330mmx28mm for $450 each side that's hat and rotor. I've been told Wilwood's are not good for heavier cars and you're better off going with AP's Brembo's or Alcon etc. These are not THAT expensive when you consider what we all pay for extra engine performance e.g. the top of the range monoblock 6 piston alcon is $1350 per caliper and it's f*ckin huge!!!!! Personally I don't think this is too bad and obviously 4 spotters are a lot cheaper.

why do you want to go bigger than the ma70 brakes? They're massive and excellent from factory! What are you planning to do with the car? Im planning on doing an ma70 brake conversion if yours are for sale...

Already have 300mm slotted dba's.
Rang up brake and clutch last week (saw a old thread mention the name) and price was $2900 for a AP Racing 4pot caliper and 330mm rotors with custom hats for the front. If i do the z32 way i can get 324mm rotors with the 4 piston, but it will cost $500+$300 calipers+$400 slotted rotors which works out quite a bit cheaper, but dunno how engineerable it is with the shaving spacers+shaving of the hub.
mk3 Supra brakes are resonabley big, but the car is damn heavy and the caliper is single piston. They do stop "ok" but repeat several times and watch them fade  . Thats why going the bigger rotor/4piston will help that *hopefully*

I've heard some people say that some MA70 brakes are different to others, but mine were exactly the same size as the JZA-70 ones. Perhaps the GA70 ones were smaller?
Got brake fade? What pads are you using? I'm gone to EBC Greenstuff and have no problems with fade even after some seriously hard driving (ie smoking brakes and glowing rotors)

GA70 and some MA70's (that come with 15 inch wheels) have smaller brakes

I think you'll find that's a rumour more than anything.
There is always a chance, but I find it unlikely.
I have seen numerous (australian and import) MA70's and am yet to see one with brakes <300mm.
In addition to that, I had an unmodified GA70 half cut which had 300mm brakes on it.
I think you'll find that certain (not all) 15" wheels fit over the 300mm brakes.

According to the DBA catalog, there are three sizes of rotors listed ;
Supra 1/86 to 5/93 MA70/71 - DBA715 - 300mm dia x 22mmm thick
Supra 5/93 on MA non turbo - DBA712 - 296mm dia x 32mmm thick
Supra 5/93 on MA turbo - DBA718A/B - 323mm dia x 30mmm thick
They are listeds as MA's, but I guess the last two (5/93 on) are the JZA80 ?

The JZ80's came with two different brakes setups. One for turbo and one for NA. You could've opted for the turbo brakes on your NA though.
I'm not sure what brakes pads i have on my MA70, but i went for a burn round the local hills the other night and it never hesitated on the brakes (very supprised). A friend of mine has better pads on his MA70 and it handled the same, never faded once. But his brother apparentle has fadded after a few sudden stops.

When i bought my mk3 supra it actually only had 275mm rotors on it, but i think this was more a ghetto rotor change as the brake pad wasnt even getting full contact on the rotor.
Ive now got bendix metals + dba rotors on the ma70 might do some more testing on the fade.

I upgraded my standard MA70 (Turbo) disks for JZA70 ones. Bigger and slotted. Also put in a set of EBC green stuff pads.
A very good option for upgrading, and on the track it was my tyres that were fading before my brakes.

I have seen GA70, MA70 and JZA70 rotors side by side and they were all identical. None of them were slotted either!

I bought them through here for $75 and they were a direct bolt on.
Something had to be used from the old disks but I can't remember what. I got the toymods sponsor to do it.
