If you want one, you can come and get it. I've got no use for it now. It's in running order. If your interested, shoot me a reply or PM.
Cheers,
Tim

how different is the block in an 18r-c to a 18r-g?

are the pistons the same, or do they have 4 valve scallops?

Sorry, I don't know. But if you want to find out, just come and get the engine. If anyone would like to make a small donation to the "Save the Celica" fund upon pick-up it would be most welcome, but not necessary, I just want this engine gone. It had a service about 200km's ago.
Cheers,
Tim

Hey man if you are seriously wanting it gone i would give you a small amount, $25-30, for it of it is in running order? is it still in a car? did it run well, any noises, rattles, knocks, taps? blow any smoke/burn much oil? silly questions i know but i gotta ask..

does it have a carby and dizzy with it? giving away any ancillaries like altinator/starter/flywheel/clutch/exhaust manifold with it?

cheers,

Hey blackRA28,
Sorry its taken so long to reply, but if you still want the engine, its yours. It burns a bit of oil, I think it needs new valve guides, but apart from that, it comes with alternator, dizzy, starter and flywheel. If you want it reply, and we can organise a time for you to come and collect it.
Cheers,
Tim

I don't mind who gets it, but I would like about $50 for it. I think it's worth at least that for the dizzy, alternator, starter, flywheel, carby etc. It doesn't come with a gearbox, but its a complete motor that still runs. I don't know if anyone wants to pick it up tomorrow (Sunday), but just PM me, I'll be checking them regularly tonight and tomorrow morning, and I can send you my phone number to organise a time to come and pick it up tomorrow arvo.
Cheers,
Tim
