Have fun,I was Talking to someone yesterday about rebuilding a 1g and you cant get any parts for them you have to get custom made pistons and you can not get bigger cams for them at all not even in japan

though really you'd only want some adjustable cam gears for finer tuning.

rather then spend heaps on a 1G wouldnt you be better off just shelling out for a 1JZ?

the legalities regarding engine capacity are based on weight. Im unaware of what car he is running, so if its a sprinter then of course a 1J is out of the question. You only require a car weight of 1000kgs to get a 1J legally approved in Qld.

JAPANESE IMPORT PARTS
These 1GGTE 2.4L HKS stroker kits are VERY expensive.
And yes, I can supply these to anyone that wants one direct from Japan.

This was the main reason I put a 1JZ in my car instead of fixing the 1G. Everything is so expensive from Japan, and most parts would have to be custom made in Australia.
