Comparing the two is like chalk and cheese, they don't really compare. The 3TGTE is older, heavier, and less reliable (they have inherent piston weakness), compared to the 4AGZE. On the upside, at the moment, they're cheaper, more readily available, and simpler to work on. My recommendation would be to go the 4AGZE into your KE70.

3TGTE puts out 160BHP standard, I have one around 190BHP with an exhaust and T28 turbo on 7.3psi. 4AGZE puts out 145-160BHP depending on which series you have, standard.

that depends on what you want to do in the future... from what i understand, the big port head is better suited for a turbo conversion due to that fact that it has a 8:1 compression whereas the small port has 8.9:1... the only advantage the small port's have is the map sensor as opposed to the somewhat restictive AFM. If you want big power and have a decent budget, go the big port, and an aftermarket ecu to eliminate that AFM.
Hope that helped somewhat.

I think you can get them from the mid 90's levins. i would be very interested to find out how well it turns out. I've heard the late model engines have some goodies standard.

there is no 4agze rwd motor...unless someone like HKS fabricated an after market kit for the motor.
The 4agze was only ever produced as FWD (ae92 to ae111) I think from memory.

the mr2 version is basically a RWD version. everything points in the right direction. the later models are much better though
