If not yet sold - is it a complete IRS diff centre, or just the innards?
Also, what is the diff code of the IS200? Is it an F/G series, or is it one of the new style A/B diffs?

its a complete torsen LSD centre ready to bolt in...i have no clue on the coding system on the diffs in these cars.

I am interested if it is an F-series, however being Christmas I can't afford to pay for it until next payday (Jan 1st).
I will do some brief research and if it's an F-series I'll be in touch.

Can you please provide more info?
* How did you come to have the diff?
* Why are you selling it?
* Was it out of an Australian IS200 or an import Altezza?
* Why is there an IS200 out there with no diff?
* Do you know if it is out of a manual or an auto car?
If the diff has not sold in the first few days of January then I will look at making you an offer.

the diff came from a altezza,does it matter why i am selling it?,
there is no is200 out there with no diff that i am aware of,it was a manual diff i think.
by all means,make an offer.

Well it does - if you found out the diff is fucked.... or that it had done 400,000kms... or that these diffs had an inherent problem/weakness... then I think that's pretty valid information for a buyer to know about 
I really only want the LSD bit, the rest is going in the bin... I'll give you $500 for it. I can pay a $100 holding deposit into your account now and the remaining $400 when I send a mate around to pick it up in the New Year.

i can assure you the diff had only done 27000 kms before the car was wrecked,its in excellent condition.i would not sell you something that was 'fucked' as you put it.
i reject your offer for $500,i am looking for more money than that,but thanks for your offer anyway.

This guy doesn't seem all that helpful or keen to come across as a friendly seller... but if it is an F-series, as I have been led to believe... then the centre itself will swap into an IRS Corona. The actual housing will NOT bolt on.
If it is a live axle (BW) then it's useless to you.

come on guys gee its a F series and its not a live axle toyota hasnt done live axles for ages its irs and the ratio is either 4.1 or 4.3 ratio but the guts will bolt into a live axle rear end
