having the colder heat range (5) means the plug wont get hot enough to burn off the slugde it collects - and they foul... this may have caused the problem you describe with the plugs you just put in...

Kewlies. Good to hear. I just wanted to know before I put a new set of spark plugs in... It's a huge PITA to change spark plugs for me.
Damn duck pond sitting on top of my engine.

5's are hotter than 6's.. higher number = colder (for NGK anyways)

I thought the oxy sensors only worked when under low load, eg cruising?

Hmm... I dunno...
I just figured that the oxysensor is the most likely cause of over fueling... Could be the AFM (unlikely) or not getting enough wattage to the ECU/injectors (quite likely although it's only just started happening).

Was it just 1 or 2 plugs?? or all 6 of them??
Do they all look the same (colour, deposits etc...), just thinking it could be leaky valve guide seals fouling the plugs.

I'll take some photos and post them up tomorrow.
I'm just gonna install the new ones anyway. The car is an absolute POS to drive right now.
I just wish half the engine didn't have to come out every time I changed the spark plugs... Stupid duck pond sitting on top of my engine.

Dunno... When it's that cold, I'm not gonna hang around outside for long...... 
Changed the spark plugs but I left my digicam at home. I'll go grab it at lunch time and post the photos up.

They're NGK BCPR6EY-11s. Although I accidentally bought BCPR5EY-11s which fouled really quickly.

I got bcpr7es and I never seen a rough idle like that it was all over the place, then I use the ngk recommended platinum BCPR6EP-N-8 and its great
