I'm guessing the shipping costs to Sydney for these could be scarey. Any ideas what it might cost? And how much you'd want for the bare struts with hubs?

I bought a pair of XT130 struts a few years ago, now on my car. It cost about $180 I think at the wrecker. I would sell the other set I have for less than that, but to be honest it would be a little silly to ship them anywhere. XT130's are the cheapest cars on the road right now, and quite common. The wreckers would not take mine because they have too many of them. But you can have the struts for $50. Shipping would be heaps, I'm not sure, maybe $90.

Mate, I can get shipping quite cheap through work. Be about $40 so probably would end up pretty cost effective. I've called local wreckers and they want $50 a strut. Wreckers in Sydney want $35 a strut.
So even with the transport costs it will still work out roughly the same.
Do you know around about what 2 bare strut legs with hubs would weigh?
I guessed around 30kg for the 2?
Regards, Joel
