15x7" Simmons B45's

Hey guys,
Yes, these things are for sale again, now we've had a good look at them and polished them up. After measuring them again from the right spots, they are indeed 7" wide...as we suspected! They are roughly 8mm offset.
As mentioned, they are now polished and as you can see in the pics they have been cleaned up and sprayed white.
There is still a couple of little dents in them, will try to get some better pics later since they have been polished.
For now, here is a couple of pictures:

We're looking for $1000ono, or will remove the tyres for $20 (this will save heaps on freight). Got any questions, just ask.
Nathan

Hi Frank - how's the XX going? I'd love the rims but don't have any $$$
Are you sure that they're 8" wide - a 7" rim is 8" lip to lip, hence the confusion with a lot of people saying MA6x supra rims are 8"s wide (it says JJ8 for offset, you tell them that, they disagree then they measure them and say "see?" )

It's going slowly. I didn't measure them, I'll get someone to measure them again.

I am interested in the mags but are they 114.3 cause i think they would add a nice touch to the old TA22.

Ummm, they fit most RWD 4 stud Toyotas (AE86, MX73, MA61) are the only ones I know for sure, so if you are compatible with any of them, it will fit

If they fit a Supra, they'll fit the TA22 for sure. From the measurements, the offset is about +8mm
Perfect fro a MA61 !!

Hiya JCMF,
How's it going? Those Simmons look shweet! Pit they're only 15" - makes big brakes a bit harder (which is one of the main reason people upgrade on MA61s). But 8" does allow for some nice fat rubber!
I finally sold my 8"ers and bought a cheap set of stock rims. Spent weeks polishing & painting.
Good luck with the sale and keep us posted on the mighty GA61 twin turbo.

They're Simmons dude, the only thing your bound to, is the diameter, ie 15"
To go wider, thinner, diff offset, diff pattern, all you have to do is ring up Simmons, and get 4 new parts (whether they be inner rims, outer rims, or centres)
Dunno on cost, but its possible

I believe that with the B45's, you can still go to 16" with the same centres.
Last time I rang Simmons, I think the 16" outers from 1/2" to 2 1/2" were the same price, and they were $200 each polished.
I may be doing something similar, as my 16 x 8"s are great on the front, but with the offset, the rears should be able to go to 16 x 9".

So on B45's you can use the 15 inch centre and put a 16inch rim on it. How do they do that?

Just use different inner and outer rim halves.
To be sure, check with the Simmons authorised dealer

Yeah, he's right
When Simmons first brought out the B45 in a 16" format, they just used the same centre, and a bigger inner/outer
Instead of coming straight out towards the outside, it went up 1/2 an inch, then outwards, thus making it 1" larger

Sorry dood - as you know I'm already rocking the 16" x 8 Simmons B45's on my Mk2 Supra
The rims came up good though - you should be able to sell them. I'll let my people know in case anyone is interested.
