hey guys,

i am just asking around here for some back ground information on these guys (dont know how to spell it Smile

bascially a good mate of mine bought a gts-t skyline off these guys 4 months ago. He test drove the car it was fine. when he picked it up there was a noise when the clutch was out.

the guy that was selling it just said it needs a new clutch and it wasnt covered under warranty. Which is fine my mate just assumed he would have to replace it pretty soon.

4 months goes by, he goes to get the clutch replaced and its not the clutch, apparently something in the box is fubar.

Now my mate is stuck with this car which had a fucked box from the start and now legal leg to stand on.

i believe when he test drove the car it was a different box to the one he got when he bought it. He said there were some signs of a gear box swap.

could anyone offer any advice ?

it kinda stinks what they have done to him

i run a car yard so what i am going to tell you is what you
you shouldnt really know! regardless of age milage condition of the car, if the car is under warrenty or not you have 1 month under the sales of goods act that if this car does not do the job it is created to do ie take you from a to b or if there is a fault they must fix the car regardless or give you the money back. i know it is over a month but if you took it to a mechanic and he diagnosed the problem and gave you a receipt you can go to consumer affairs who will make them fix the car at the mechanic of your choice he really does not have a leg to stand on. if he wrote on the sales contract that the car was sold with a noisey gearbox or blowen clutch and if you signed it you my friend will just have to wear the bill.

hope this has been some use to you!

pm me if yyou need nore info and let me know how you go!!!
