 What car should I buy??

Hello everyone, I'm totally new here! I have always liked cars, strange maybe for a gal but I know there are many like me. Anyway, I want to buy something cool and vintage, to fix up. I have no idea where to start, but I suppose you all have suggestions as to what to buy?

welcome to the forums. 
your going to have to give us some more info on what u want:
2 door or 4 door?
front wheel drive or rear wheel drive?
big car, medium car, little car?
budget?
how fast do u want it to go?
do you want it to handle well or only go in straight lines?
answer a few of these questions and we'll all be able to give u a list of toyotas that will suit.

OK, maybe I should have added some "specs!!"  I love small cars, 2-doors, automatic, and something that handles real well on curves. I do like speed! Funny how I get nervous when others drive fast, but when I do it myself I'm invincible. Price right now not a big consideration, obviously I'm not made of money, tho I'm not eating out of dustbins either! A fixer-upper gets my money in stages.

do u often carry xtra ppl in ya car ?

i know its 4 door yet the ae71 isnt a bad start to a project car
or u could always buy my car as a starting point project car ...

and the hounds move in.... 
you'll find the rolla boys suggest a rolla, the celica boys will suggest a celica, and me.. well, I'd suggest a supra!
all the mentioned old rolla/celica/supra in auto form are fairly gutless (being 20+ years old), but I've seen them all handle the twisties extremely well (even if the rolla's brakes did catch on fire... flynsx  )

as I said, where you from it makes it easier to find cars for someone. As for HOUNDS well yes they do jump in quite quick on here ( i ain't one of them ).
But as she said..she wants to turn and accelrate at the SAME TIME. FWD - if I could strike through it I would
