manual steering rack for MA61?

While my car is down for a rebuild/upgrade I would like to get rid of the power steering rack and replace it with a manual one. However, I have not found a direct replacement that bolts right in. The closest thing I have found is from a FC RX-7 (turbo II body style) and it requires some custom brackets that I really do not want to make. Any sugestions? Anyone ever tried this before?

Just disconnect your power steering pump and you're done! I've been driving my Supra like this for a couple of years now, mostly because I'm too cheap to rebuild my leaky rack.
What do you hope to gain by doing this? If it's just weight savings there won't be much in it...

Norbie, I tried that for a few months and did not like it at all - way too heavy for auto-x. The reason I want to get rid of the power steering sys. is b/c this is the 2nd one I've put in and the boots have split again and it will start leaking soon. Not to mention removing the ps pump and reservoir will clean up that side of the engine bay and make installation of a T-61 much easier. Also, it is not as complex of a system and I like simple things - they tend to last longer and require less maintenance.
Draven: thank you, I never thought I would take it this far but once you are bitten by the boost bug there is no turning back:)

So you want to remove the power steering, but you don't want the steering to be heavy. Can anyone see the contradiction here?
Sorry but you can't have it both ways. The Celicas get away with having manual steering because they have different front end geometry (less caster for one thing), narrower tyres, and much less weight up front. Supras really need power assistance, especially if you're doing stuff like autocross which involves lots of rapid wheel-turning at low speeds. Keep the P/S I say, and if the rack starts leaking rebuild it!
FWIW I have a Celica rack sitting next to a Supra rack in my garage and I can confirm they are not interchangeable. So unless a manual-steer Supra existed somewhere (which I doubt), there aren't any bolt-in manual steer options for you.
