if you're converting an auspec into a trueno, you'll also need bumper bar brackets and corner indicators too
a good way to ask for all the bits you need, is to just say a whole trueno front (levin to trueno conversion) minus the RH guard

Unforturnately, not many people in Australia have them lying around readily. And if they do (which very RARELY happens), it's normally in an entire set. So you may be better off buying an entire front end.
You'll most likely have to get them overseas, sorry my friend.
Maybe speak to your importer. Hachi Roku Ben had to get some guards, etc ordered in and it costed him a mint.
BTW. ae86trueno has got a complete front end that will be repaired after the accident. he's got it in storage, but will part with it for a decent premium. If you are desperate, ask him.
Have you ever thought about repairing? I'm sure to correct, and paint 3 panels, and a bumper will not exceed $1500-$2000 (the price of a new front end).
Also consider this, when you buy a new front end, chances are, it will needed to be painted and prepped too..
rock on.

Ok i think i'll be repeairing then, it need a few dents to be straithened out on other panels the front could prorbably be repeaired plus the whole car will need to be sanded down to the metal and re painted due to rust, i also think i will need to weld some joints that have been rusted rather badly.
What brands of body kits are available for the 1985 trueno (after market panals)
Thank for your help guys, I should get some photos up soon.

jblood have got their own panels..
there are also a lot of FRP stuff (fenders, bonnet)
on yahoo japan..
only problem is that they amount to heaps, even before shipping.
in terms of bodykit, there are the TRD N2 flares (bolt on top), a few front lips here and there from reputable companies. Though most people will adapt other bodykits to suit the sprinter trueno..
I'll be very interested in how the car turns out...
BTW... if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost for the trueno fully landed.

ahh.. that sounds like a bit of a pain..
but here is a bit of a suggestion, if it's going to cost you that much $$$ (3-4 on bodywork, 2k rego).
Have you ever thought about getting a locally delivered shell (there are quite a few of those on the for sale forums), and transferring all the parts over.. These shells shouldn't be that expensive (everythign gutted from the car), and well under $1k,.
that way, no need to screw around with compliance. Also, chances are, you'll find a better shell with less rust. And less rust is always better than a rusted car with repairs.
Because it's simply a parts transfer thing, everything fits bolt for bolt, and it'll just be as good as a jdm.
I know a guy in melbournes west (a toyota specialist mechanic) who did the same on an entire vehicle, and charged only $2000 bux.
If you want to transfer the trueno front on straight away, you can. If not drive around with a levin until you can save up for the repair and spray....
And at the end of the day, it'll be registered as a local delivered sprinter.. so cheap insurance, and less hassles at vic roads...
Sure, you can't boast that it's JDM. But seriously, a clean Aus Spec with ALL the JDM bits, including engine loom and interior etc is no different at all. Both have AE86 on the bulkhead, so they are exactly the same shell.
Do you think it's really worth trying to repair the body?.
rock on mate.
