hey stef,
i know of a sa63 in the making of becoming a lowrider (america style) complete with "bouncing" suspension, but im not supposed to tell anybody its a secret
just remembered that fusebox you wanted, i found it, the lower bolt hole clip things are broken so if you have a bottom casing then it should all be sweet, when do you want this ?...im off work at the moment for a while, damn lung is shitting me i have 80% inflation in the left side, have to wait for a cat scan then results so the docs can decide how retarded my body actually is, i call it retarded of the lung

mines stock. guess you could call me a riceboy, but don't really classify myself as that as i haven't put anything on my car that wasn't already available for the celica/supra. (apart from the decals on the doors).

I know you three, was just wondering if there were any others lurking around.
Wayne - thanks for finding the fusebox, but after talking to some people I'm not 100% sure that it's my fusebox that need fixing. Have to go to an autoelectrician to see what's up with my car first - just haven't got around to it. Spent this morning on the engine. My car wasn't all that revvy but has lots of low-down power, someone on the OCC list suggested my timing belt might be out a tooth. I pulled it apart and it was. I had been advanced a tooth for the past year ever since I rpelaced the chain! Fixed now, redid the timing, just gotta take it for a spin now

i got the spoilers after i bought the car. yeah chances of finding them at self serve wreckers would be pretty low. have seen some celicas there though that have a similar spoiler/sunshade to the supra but doesn't look as good.
one day i decided to ring up a toyota wrecker/dealer and asked them about the supra spoiler and they had it which was a surprise. i paid $195 for that and $60 for the bottom spoiler that he had there aswell.

From what I found, you can't find them any more, the company that made them is gone.
Can't remember the name of the company though... 4 letters... Draven should be able to tell us, since he has one.

it's a FOHO spoiler (from memory, I'll check when it's not so cold outside). and I've got an RA65 ... pretty much like maxdamage's, full factory options, with exhaust and pod filter (which give suprising gains) it's also got the factory option alloys ... 6.5" wide oh, and the evap emissions unit removed, which made getting rego fun :\

what's included in the full factory options? which wheels have you got? are they the ones that are on the gts celicas? the ones that look like supra wheels or maybe even are supra wheels?

Yup, FOHO is it! Or FOHA. One of those two.
An aluminium T-bar spoiler wouldn't look too bad on an RA60. Bit of overkill for the street though.
While we're on the subject of body kits... Just in case some of you haven't seen these...

I can't help it!! I really do want that kit and paint my car black... Would look awesome...
I'd get it only if I was done modding the engine/suspension... Which will prolly never happen.
It's nice to dream though...

Hi
I have a SA63 sitting in the drive way. Its a no goer at the moment. I am still thinking about wot to do with it. Me thinks that a big twin turbo may just do the trick, although I have a spare 1ggte sitting in the garage so am tempted.

you can only upload in for sale section otherwise you have to host iiiit remotely and put links in to it (I think max?). um... I dont know what sorta wheels they are... they're 14x6.5 and have toyota written in the middle of them
factory options... there weren't many on the celica aircon, that sorta stuff oh, i dont have p/s tho (and don't want it)
FOHA might be it too .. I forgot to look, and I've just finshed driving all over sydney

Ra6x's here came from the factory with 14x5.5 "tarago" rims, not 6.5.

yep, that's what it is (I my haynes book) anyhoo.. my tires are 195 across ... which is just over 7.5 inches (which is a pleasant suprise, and explains why my car sticks to the road so well) no idea about the actual rims.. they're not marked in any way (that I could see in the inky blackness with only a crappy rechargeable torch)

Hi all. I'm only very new to these forums, but I'm addicted already. I've got an SA63, which if you recognise the name, you would know, Stephen. I'll prob be posting a bit, so I thought I would tell the other Celica freaks about it (everyone I know is sick of hearing about my car) . It's got: lowered King springs, gas KYB & Monroe shocks, light headwork, 2" exhaust, pioneer headunit with 6 by 9s, amp, sub. Plus I will be having some custom extractors made within a couple of weeks, and I have a set of 15" Performance Tempest wheels on order. Should be here next week. I hate living in a foreign country . I'd like to put some pics up soon, find out what you think.

I'd burned out three valves and was running on two, so I got the head fully recoed, acid dipped, shaved, and lightly ported. Cost just under a grand at Toyospec. If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't still have a 2SC under the bonnet. Live and learn.

Hi guys,
it's me steeko,, sa63 liftback.
Yeh I am putting on hydraulics and it has been quite a mission indeed, i'm starting to think a 3S conversion would've been easier, i've had to custom fabricate sooo much stuff, maybe I shoulda done an old chevy or holden?? and IRS woz very difficult, ended up slipping the axles and had to get that redone i'll learn not to touch my torsion bar again.
and hydraulics on struts is a bad idea, so I might be putting on something else in the front for the hydros' to work better.
Other than that I've been busy spending mad $$$s on the celica and it keeps being a little b!tch to me. In other news, my side skirts i'm getting copied have been stripped and primed ready to be copied, my mate has been doing this in his lunch breaks - said they'll be perfect copies, so maybe around xmas time after i've ironed out my hydraulics.
Good to see all the celica members active, i have seen hardly any celica's on the road lately, they must be getting even more rare, the one's i have seen have been real sh!tboxes, except a real nice red sprinter (gze?) went past me last week near the valley, i think he's a toymodder, i woz in my girls white ma61.
That thing took off great! i'm pretty sure he's got the super charger, he woz also at Jamboree

You know how the Toyota naming codes work?
xA6x means 3rd gen Celica. And Ra65 has an R-series engine (2.4l 22RE) whearas an Sa63 has an s-series engine (2S-C).
The sa63 and ra65 both have the same 'newer' front-end (as opposed to the Ar650 with the earlier pop-forward headlights, different airdam, different taillights etc) and both have IRS (ra60 is solid axcel). I am not sure what size diff the sa63 has.
For AUS cars:
Ra60 = 82,83 old style front end, 21RC, solid axcel
SA63 = 84. new front end, 2S-C, IRS
RA65 = 85 , new front end, 22RE, IRS
BTW what the fuck are hydrolics? That stuff where you hit a button and the car sits really low or jumps or whatever? If so... why???!!!!

Just out of interest, if the rearward facing dizzy problem was fixed on a 3S-G(T)E engine with aftermarket management for example, would it bolt straight up into an SA63 Celica or is the 2S that different? I haven't heard much talk about this combo?

Yeah it will bolt up but you have to use the sump, oil pickup and engine mounts from the 2S. But you still have the problem with the plenum trying to poke out of the bonnet though...

yep, hydraulic suspension, where u hit a switch and the car can jump off the ground or pull different moves..
Well it'll be different that's for sure, I woz gonna try to do a big chev, but I dont have anywhere big enough to store a chev or anything so I juiced my celica
will be different that's for sure, but it's a very complicated little thing, has taken me ages to do.
Ah well, I can clear those speed bumps now, or bunny hop over em.. LOL..
