Zoom's new Project Car - MX83 Grande with 7M-GTE !!! Thu, 11 December 2003 21:11 Go to next message
Hey guys,

Even though Zoom is not the best mag around, it does have some decent cars and articles, rather than gollsy pages of show cars.

The latest issue now reports that they have a new project car as above.

Apparently the car already has a HKS T04E kit and EMS stinger ECU, so for us die hard 7M lovers, it will be interesting to see what they come up with, and whethe3r any of it is new, good, crap or just plain ho-hum as most of the experienced guys have been theer and done that

Cheers

Michael B

Bah, they should put that turbo kit on a different 3L engine! Smile
In fact, I can think of 2 mx83 grandes... well maybe 1.5, that would be happy to rent the engine bay space Razz
Hopefully it'll be a decent article. Lets see what comes out Smile
Mos.
PS. Not discouraging 7M lovers, but imho there are better bases to start with for something full out?
PPS. Not discouraging magazine articles, but mx83s are rapidly losing their sleeper status Sad

i think the sleeper status was lost along time ago amongst toyota people.

the general public(of Schmiddies) i dont think will ever understand.

i personally would love to see us all competeing against the victorian VL Calais brigade. as grande's and calais are both luxury cars. well, thats my long term goal anyways.
