My kid brother has an 18RU in an RA28 fastback celica, which leaks oil into the plug recesses on the rocker cover (as in "fills them to the brim with oil").
He says that the rocker cover gasket was changed a month ago, presumably an attempt to remedy this problem.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a solution to his problem?
Its a common problem on 18R-C's when you change the rocker cover gasket. You have to check and retighten the rocker cover nuts about a week after you fit it and then check it every so often after that. The nuts work themselves loose.
