2tg fuel problem, i think, here is what i got.

hey everone i have a 2tg rebuilt with solexs hanging of the side i have stocko mechanicle fuel pump and nothing else, when reving high it seems to strungle somtimes from 5 up like it goes forword then stop pulling for a second then does this again.
cannot figure what is wrong i have tested and electrical fuel pump and didnt seem to help alot , somethimes the engine will perform well go to 7 and a half nicely but if u go again it wont.

carby float level may be too low.... so by the time you reach high revs, the bowls are dry.... check the level and adjust... maybe a larger needle is required?
i have ahd similar probs, but only with crappy stock AISAN, and only in 4th at high revs after taking off from toll booths

oh, or it could be your mixtures... have you checked the AFR?
