I would like to know what your favourite car mags are, my favorite at the moment is zoom, it has more tech detail of the car rather than the watts that the neons put out like in hot4s. Fastfours is getting a little better now, i like the drag section. Speed sometimes gives out wrong information and inflated power figures, i looked at the latest one and there are ppl showing them how wrong they are in the readers comments section. I buy mags to learn new things in the Automotive Industry, yeah you can get that at forums too, but you can also learn alot through mags.

yer nissans are better but i grew up with a datsun what pissed me off is first ad i put in fast fours was in the new section all for ads in the back same section hteres ads for brothels and porn and crap i paid 300 bucks and most people will flick past that section because no one cares for brothels and shit was my first and last ad in fast fours most of shit in magazines i dont believe do to the fact years ago they would give wrong info out and my work would get all these idiots ringing regarding doin these conversions then u sit down waste 10 mins on the phone explaining why its imposible to do or why its so expensive to do we got the shits and stopped advertisin in them plus most magazines these days will not look at you if yr car is built b4 1980 or 1990 90% of cars are new cars with an air cleaner and an exhaust and a horsepower figure 200% higher than it really is [Updated on: Tue, 16 December 2003 04:49] [Report message to a moderator]

The magazines I buy at times are: 1 Zoom 2 EVO (Any new car mag that runs a group test of MX5, MR2, Smart Spider and a 1960's Lotus Elan and chooses the Elan as the winner gets my vote. 3 HPI 4 Retro Cars (A pommy mag that doesn't have a lot of Jap cars in it but does have a reasonable amount of how to and I like most of the cars in it anyway.) 5 Street Machine (Sure they're mostly V8's but I'd rather a well detailed V8 than the crap you get in the 4 cylinder mags these days) 6 Performance Buildups Of these I have a subscription to Zoom thanks to my missus and tend to buy EVO every issue, the others are more impulse buys.
