there is not a kit as such. the bearngs have to come from toyota, and they are about $600 for the set. the synchros apparently can be sourced from someone else (no idea who) but expect about $55-60 ea. then there is a gasket kit. so all up the parts alone will set you back about $1k.
not worth rebuilding is it?!!!

how could bearings be worth that much?
wouldnt you be able to just go and get them from a bearing supplier for a lot less than that?

simply by the fact that they are toyota specific & you can't get them from another supplier

for some gearboxes you can get a generic part, but some of them have a peculiar diamter, or offset, or circlip groove etc...
even so, the input shaft bearing for a K50 was about $60....
even generic ones (if they were available) you'd be spending $4-500

My t50 was rebuilt about 3mths ago and it cost me just over 1000k, and i haggled the fuk out of this bloke to get the lowest price i could, doing for 500 is almost impossible.
Bearing kit for my t50 was $450.

i never accuse people of lying even if i know they are.
im just simply saying $500 sounds way to cheap to rebuild any gearbox not just the t50's.
but if you persist then what can i say.
