Hi everyoe,
i have a ke10 with drums on the front. i just dropped a 5k in it and need to whack some discs on before i do anything else. I heard that the struts and brakes from ke70 will be compatible. but i don't want to have to change to bigger rims (i think i currently have 12 or 13") Would other earlier models also fit? ie ke25, ke30 etc
anyone got any advice.

struts are not compatible. different steering arm.
grab the discs, backing plate and calipers from a KE70.
grab the disc brake hubs fom a KE10 or KE20.
it all bolts together but you have to use 13" rims (as the discs are 218mm)
OR
grab the whole hub/disc/backingplate/caliper from a KE20 (these and the KE10 discs are 200mm)
Cya, Stewart
ps, i have KE70 discs on my KE15 using KE15/KE20 hubs, and have had KE15 discs, KE20 duscs, KE30 discs as well...
