OK How do I recondition a dash - i.e. what materials to I use ? The dash is a little cracked.

What sites or phone numbers do you guys have / or have used in the past to get your dashes re-conditioned ??!

I haven't used them before but :

http://www.dashboardcentre.com.au/

Might be worth a try. Seen a write up in a car mag about them.

ARGH - its in fackin Victoria !! hahah

shoulda read before I sent them an email ! haha Cry

Anyway - here is their reply to me... EXPENSIVE !!!

Quote:

Les, with our process, it does not matter if there are a few cracks or
heaps - the cost is the same. We do re-skinning which requires the dash to
be removed from the car and sent to us.
We then repair as necessary and vacuum form a new vinyl skin across the
entire surface.
For your car the cost is $248 incl GST.
Regards, Harry

I've got a few quotes from around the place and all have been similar prices. Seems the going rate.

There is a place in Syd which is a bit cheaper -

"Hi Joel Yes we restore dashes. I would need your dash for one week, from saturday to saturday. It would cost you $215 plus freight(if any) if the dash is in a repairable state. AL"

you can email them - sales@consoles.com
website - http://www.consoles.com/

they make some cool looking consoles for older cars too. I got one in my RA28.
