Yes I know I might seem like an idiot, but I was just wondering what the difference was between them. I mean, how do you convert one to the other?

Yer, I knew that, I just wanted to know what the conversion rate was. Think I worded that post badly. Confused

1 bar = approx 14.7psi, or just 15 if you're being rough. Smile

I dunno about you, but my fully sick Lancer runs 5.2 BAR mate. Man my mechanic said I should put in a Turbocharger, and I could get it up even HIGHER! Wow!

*chuckles* Sorry...

Don't be silly, MA61's don't have turbos. I just have a 5M-E running Optimax with the timing cranked a few degrees. Oh and extractors.

The next person to talk to me in BAR or KILOWATTS will get a quick smack to the head.

I'm starting to get really pissed at magazine editors for allowign the metric system to destroy classic boundaries by converting things like "over 700hp!" to "over 521kW!"... it just sounds fucked and they're all idiots for pushing the idea so hard in the name of journalistic consistency.

That and running 0.655746632 bar really gives me gas.

lol. It's just that a cousin of mine has just bought a brand new XR6 Turbo, and they said it was running .18 BAR. Just wondering how that related to what I was running. Not much acutally. Smile

I just got out a hydraulic gauge and manage to blow more boost than the xr6. Anyone want to strap me to their engine. For sale, toyota, runs 3.2 psi human turbo, offers.

Or you could put an unregulated scuba tank into the inlet at up to 300 bar
