Double sided tapes and silicone type glues are real PITA to remove if you want to take the wing off some day in the future. That's why I would suggest of using resin. Resin can be sanded off. Resin is what I would use.

bite the bullet.
buy another hatch.
bolt the frickin thing on....

since there will be buggerall downforce from it, it only needs to resist the drag that it will be creating. a couple of bolts will be fine...

you could try to epoxy it on, but you risk the chance of it coming off and hitting someone or something...

why the reluctance to do it properly??
how do TRD recommend to attach it???

try sticka-flex (is this how u spell it?)

its really sticky but u'll prob have the rip the whole wing off if u want to remove it in the future...but then how often are you really going to be taking off that wing...plus i think it looks great on the 86 Smile

good luck dude

Sikaflex - spelled correctly.

Anyway Sikaflex falls into "silicone type glue" category. Cant be removed mechanically or chemically. Fibreglass resin or epoxy (not much difference) can be sanded off. Use Sikaflex or epoxy and wing itself sticks just plain tigth. I believe that you can crack resin joint if you want but think about doing same to Sikaflex joint Confused . You just crack your wing or hatch. Which ever lets go first.
